I am a enthusiastic pediatric Occupational Therapist who is currently (Fall 2024-Summer 2025) pursuing my post-professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate (PP-OTD) degree at University of Southern California (USC). I obtained an MOT from Loma Linda University (LLU) in June 2021. I am so happy to pass my NBCOT® exam and become a registered licensed OT. I also have my AA degree in Liberal Arts and my BS degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science.
I enjoy engaging in my meaningful occupations related to music, art, nature, outdoors, and wellness. I love to play sports such as volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Sometimes, I enjoy other forms of physical exercise and outdoor activities such as mindfulness walking, riding my bike, running (ran 2 LA marathons), yoga, hiking, camping, exploring national parks, working out, and engaging in fun leisure and play activities with friends and family.
I also enjoy playing singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments such as piano, guitar, Ukulele, violin, flute, and drums or cajon. In addition, I frequent tap in to my creative side and practice painting, drawing, crafting, sewing, lettering, journaling, and writing calligraphy. 🖌 Also, I love taking photos and videos of anything, everything. I enjoy creating video logs that share stories and help others. As much as I love eating, I also love to bake and cook. That’s if my dad don’t end up taking over the kitchen.
I am looking forward to what the field of Occupational Therapy has in store, meet awesome individuals who love to travel, explore, and help people. I am excited to grow in this community of meaning makers!
